DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) is an effective, research based training program for helping individuals who struggle with self destructive behaviors and distressing emotions. DBT is a set of tools to help individuals feel more in control of their life.
|
|
|
|
The skills groups are classes during which clients learn four sets of important skills – Mindfulness, Interpersonal Effectiveness, Emotion Regulation, and Distress Tolerance.

DBT Skills Group will meet weekly for 1 ½ hour at the College Park office. The fee will be $35 per group session.
