Adult Services Coordinator

Adryane works in Utilization/Corporate Compliance for Odyssey, as well as a counselor working directly with Odyssey clients. She has years of auditing experience working with substance abuse agencies that provide core program services to consumers with co-occurring diagnoses.  Adryane is knowledgeable of general program standards needed for substance abuse agencies to provide quality services to consumers.  She has helped to develop policy compliance for clinical staff, and worked closely with an outcomes management team, helping to develop service practices for persons with psychiatric disorders who are at risk for homelessness.  Adryane’s aim as Odyssey’s UM Corporate Compliance is to ensure all business, operations, and clinical practices are followed.

Adryane’s approach to counseling is collaborative, building relationships to help individuals get the most from counseling sessions.  She most often works with teens and adults, with a special interest in substance abuse/recovery and co-occurring mental health concerns.  Additional interests include women’s issues and newly diagnosed HIV positive men and women.  Adryane uses each individual’s personal strengths as a starting point, to explore what has worked in the past and how counseling can help develop new approaches to help address current concerns.  Adryane utilizes Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing approaches to guide counseling sessions.  With more than 10 years of experience, clients have shared with Adryane that they appreciate her warm and caring techniques used in sessions, as well as her genuine partnering with them in life’s challenges.
