Community Outreach Coordinator & Therapist

Pamela holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Kennesaw State University, as well as a Master’s Degree in Health Administration from Governors State University in Illinois. Her Bachelor’s Degree is in Economics from Northern Illinois University. Pam represents Odyssey Family Counseling Center to the mental health treatment community in the Metro-Atlanta and surrounding service areas. She uses her experience in marketing and community outreach to build and maintain collaborative relationships with referring and other community agencies. Pam develops promotional activities to increase community awareness of the services provided by Odyssey. As a therapist, Pam has a broad scope of therapeutic experience including working with children, adults, adolescents, families, couples and groups.  Clients have stated they appreciate Pam’s professionalism, approachability, her empathy, and their being able to comfortably share difficult and personal issues.  Pam provides a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where clients can explore their concerns and use their strengths to formulate strategies to achieve their goals and objectives.  She uses various therapeutic approaches tailored to the needs of the client including Cognitive-Behavior Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.  Structural Family Therapy and Family Systems are approaches she uses in working with families.
