Stephanie Shapiro, MSW, MBA, MHA
Stephanie is a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo and holds her Master’s Degrees in Social Work and Business Administration. As a part of Atlanta’s philanthropic community, Stephanie has over twenty years professional and personal experience serving a variety of organizations in the health care and education sectors, most notably with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, and is a current member of the advisory board of Parent-to-Parent of Georgia DOCC Program.
During her career, Stephanie has spent time on both the program and administrative sides: implementing many educational and support programs as well as community events, fundraisers and capital campaigns. As a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE), and Partners-in-Policy Making Graduate, Stephanie is dedicated to setting standards in philanthropy that protect the constituent, donor and organization. Creativity, drive and leadership are Stephanie’s greatest strengths. She thrives on all kinds of challenges, especially those that expand the organization’s reach. Her goal is to be a voice for under-served populations, play a part in building healthy neighborhoods, and ensure Odyssey Family Counseling Center continues to fulfill its mission: to empower families and individuals, regardless of income, to improve their lives by offering quality trauma and prevention-focused mental health, relationship, and substance abuse counseling in the community.
