The Odyssey Prevention Program |

|
Odyssey's Substance Abuse Prevention Program is a free 10-week program conducted in a small group setting for an hour each week. The program, targets at-risk adolescents ages 13-17, who have experienced either involvement with the juvenile justice system, a parent who is abusing drugs, school failure, group home placement, experimenting with ATOD use, mental health problems, economic disadvantages, family conflict, physical, sexual or psychological abuse. |

Odyssey utilizes the Project Success & Project Alert curriculum. Activities are chosen to meet the age and issues of the group and include the following:

Prevention
groups are organized and conducted in the community at a
variety of locations including schools, group homes,
juvenile courts and youth centers. Groups are currently
available in Butts, Carroll, Clayton, Coweta, Fayette,
Fulton, Heard, Henry, Pike, Spalding, and Troup Counties.
