Odyssey's adult substance abuse program provides comprehensive treatment for individuals and families impacted by substance abuse. Information and referrals are also available.
A complete substance abuse assessment and nursing assessment are conducted
for all clients enrolled in the program. After the appropriate level of care is determined, individuals begin treatment.
Components of treatment include the following services:
• Addiction Counseling
• Individual Counseling
• Family Therapy
• Alcohol & Drug Abuse Assessment
• Substance Abuse Treatment Groups
• Outside 12-Step Support Groups
• Recovery Groups
Successful Completion:
• Recognizing the need to abstain
• Maintaining sobriety for 90 consecutive days
• Attending treatment groups for six months
• Compliance with 12-Strep requirement
All clients receive individual counseling from a well trained clinician. Together with the client, individual treatment plans are formulated to help maintain a clean and sober lifestyle.
As treatment progresses and clients are able to work on more advanced issues, they begin the Recovery Group. While maintaining sobriety, they work on developing life skills for recovery, managing the return of feelings and healing old wounds. The goal is to develop a balanced lifestyle and provide post-treatment support resources.
