Parenting is one of the toughest jobs out there. Odyssey provides parenting programs to enhance protective factors in youth and their family. Parenting groups are provided at
College Park, as well as throughout the community.
Odyssey provides parenting groups in conjunction with youth groups. The program assists parents in understanding their children, as well as their own feelings and beliefs about parenting.

The effectiveness of Odyssey's skill-building targeted prevention program is reflected in its popularity and ongoing demand for groups in the community. Odyssey continues to receive requests from schools, courts and social service agencies to provide groups for youth and families in need. These collaborative relationships allow us to respond to the needs of the community and provide services where they are needed most.
Filial therapy is a national research based model, where the clinician
works with the parent to help their young child. This 10 session model
decreases behavioral acting out while strengthening the parent-child
bond.
