Emily has worked at Odyssey Family Counseling Center since
November 2007, first at the Henry County office and now at
the College Park location. Emily earned her MS and Ed.S at
Georgia State University, where she received specialized
training in the fields of trauma and play therapy, and
earned a B.A. in psychology from the University of North
Carolina at Chapel Hill. Prior to joining Odyssey, Emily
completed an internship at SafePath Children’s Advocacy
Center in Marietta, where she served families and youth who
were survivors of sexual abuse and other types of trauma.
Emily’s philosophy is that the children, adults, and
families who come to Odyssey are more than the reasons they
are seeking counseling. Emily considers it an honor to work
with the individuals and families who allow her to walk with
them on their journey of healing. |
