Sydney Baird Arthur, LPC—Utilization Manager |
|
|
|
Sydney has been practicing psychotherapy for 23 years, 10 of
which were in full time private practice. Since working in
public behavioral health and the non-profit sector, her
experience has been in utilization management; operations
management; clinical supervision; and developing, managing,
and growing programs. She has also volunteered as a non-paid
group leader for several trauma survivors groups, and she
has served as a volunteer facilitator and resource for a
sexual abuse survivors support organization. |

Sydney graduated from the University of North Carolina at
Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology
and from Georgia State University with a Master of Science
degree in Community Counseling. |
|
|
|
Clinical specialties include trauma issues, PTSD and
dissociative disorders, women’s issues, grief issues,
relationship issues, and mood disorders. Sydney is a
licensed professional counselor and in 1996, she served on
the Board of Directors for the Licensed Professional
Counselors’ Association of Georgia. |
