Ralph Boynton, Ph.D.—Psychologist

Dr. Boynton received his undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Washington in 1975. In 1977 he received a Masters in Clinical Social Work from the University of Georgia. He received a Doctorate in counseling Psychology from Georgia State University in 1989, following an internship at the Georgia Mental Health Institute.

He has been employed at Odyssey Family Counseling Center since 1977 where he received extensive training and experience working with couples, families, adult survivors of childhood abuse, domestic violence, and recovery from chemical addictions. Since 1989 his primary role as staff Psychologist has been to provide clinical training and supervision to staff and interns.

Dr. Boynton’s clinical approach reflects an integration of Client Centered, Psychodynamic and Family Systems theory and practice.
